Printpack, a leading manufacturer in flexible packaging, located in Prescott Valley, Arizona, is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Material Handler opening at our plant. This position reports to the Shipping and Receiving Specialist, and ensures the safe, effective, timely and accurate movement of materials and finished goods throughout the plant.

Pay: $18.13-$22.66 DOE + $2.50 hour shift premium for hours worked between 7pm-7am
Hours: 2nd shift - 3pm to 11pm
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to all safety policies - SAFETY FIRST!
- Drive forklift. Receive training in safe operation of mobile equipment
- Unload and load trucks as needed
- Wrap pallets / put wrapped pallets away at end of shift
- Store pallets and record bins
- Pull pallets from bins for shipments using pull sheets
- Enter bin locations for pallets into computer
- Complete daily safety and 5s audit logs
- Complete daily forklift operator checklist
- Complete daily electric pallet jack operator checklist
- Change or charge battery in forklift as needed
- Remove and build storage rack systems
- Perform daily housekeeping chores such as sweeping and 5S activities as time permits
- Load and unload trucks
- Supply departments with materials in a timely fashion such that machine downtime is avoided
- Empty trash tippers at end of shift
- Clear out empty pallets / recycle pallets from all equipment areas at end of shift
- Clear out end boards from all equipment areas at end of shift
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be willing to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Combination of indoor and outdoor environment, year-round
- Required to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Required to wear proper PPE: hearing protection, safety glasses, uniform, hairnet, and steel-toe shoes
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior computer experience, MRP systems preferred
- Must understand and read basic instructions
- Must be able to safely operate mobile equipment
- Forklift experience, preferably standup and sitdown
