LabCorp is seeking a Material Control Handler to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This position will be responsible for monitoring the inbound and outbound of all patient samples.

Work Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Saturday 6:00 am -2:30 pm with overtime as business needs require.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Monitoring of all inbound specimens via FedEx, UPS, airport and couriers.
• Keeping accurate detailed notes and counts of specimens.
• Pack orders for shipment via various shipping methods such as Fed Ex & UPS
• Resolve all customer concerns efficiently and timely
• Deliver supplies to local branches, clients and patient service centers when needed
• Returning all samples to correct submitting client address and/or hospitals

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• 1 year of experience in a warehouse and/or picking and packing orders is preferred
• Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record may be required
