Senior Material Engineer -- Engineer
Engineer
- Applies engineering techniques, principles and precedents to develop, design, modify, install, test, evaluate, or operate electrical, electronic, radio frequency, avionics, mechanical, communications, stores, armament, ordnance, or related data processing systems for military weapon systems or associated support equipment or components.
- Reviews, analyzes, develops, prepares or applies engineering, technical or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures.
- Organizes, analyzes, and prepares reports or presentations of technical data and information.
- Plans and performs tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components.
- Compiles, processes, reduces, or analyzes test data results.
Experience/ Education:
At least ten (10) years engineering experience in the foregoing functions.
Preferred skills:
Knowledge of manufacturing processes
Solidworks modeling and CAD experience
Experience with DoD systems (shipboard and aircraft related)
Advanced/Complex Design experience
Design for Manufacturability experience
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience
ANSYS Simulation (static, dynamic, linear and nonlinear) experience or another similar software
Good communication skills and able to be part of a team
Ability to work in a high paced rapid environment
System engineering design review experience
