Technica LLC seeks to recruit for the position of Material Coordinator (MDRS-Supply/PBO) on a Government contract with a place of performance at El Paso TX.

Position Summary:

Performs aspects of technical supply management work with specific retrograde responsibilities. Assignments will include the technical supply functions (e.g., inventory management, storage management, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply and property accountability activities. Conduct joint inventories with the customers of MDRS, properly identify PSD’s by turn in type and follow-on location. Be able to tag inventory and properly store equipment turned into the MDRS Site.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and expedites flow of material (property book items, equipment shortages, assemblies etc.)
  • Performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization) related to depot, local or other supply activities.
  • Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, responsibility.
  • Assignments usually relate to stable and or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in the scope or limited om difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions.
  • This work may require consideration of program requirements, together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines.
  • Perform data input and processing in GCSS Army systems.
  • Maintain files of documents used and prepared.
  • Prepares excel spreadsheets to identify site, storage location, disposal site, and condition of materials received.
  • Compiles data for daily, weekly, and monthly report.
  • A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
  • Required to comply with all SOPs and adhere to all Safety policies.
  • Comply with environmental Laws/Regulations, comply with Army Regulations/Policies, and related to depot, local, or other supply activities.
  • Responsible for inventory management of decentralized and decontrolled items, including supplies, and equipment.
  • Responsible for issue, receipt, and accountability of all property book items, to include sensitive items.
  • Maintains files with Army Record Information Management System (ARIMS).
  • Must be able to perform additional duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Be familiar with Microsoft Office.
  • Able to provide the necessary documentation as to being a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or foreign national with authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Able to pass to a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years of age
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment and background checks related to the position
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Must be able to operate a forklift
  • Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment or alone, including working in hot, dusty, windy areas for prolong time periods.
  • Be able to pick up and movement items within a 50 lbs. restriction
  • Be capable of climbing and working on equipment at a 10 feet above ground limit
  • Be capable of using and understanding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) of a 92A, 92Y.
  • Experience with Logistics Information Systems (LIS) such as Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-A), Logistic Information Warehouse (LIW), Unique Item Tracking (UIT), and Vantage
  • Well demonstrated knowledge to operate and perform required duties using GCSS-A PBO/ Supply and normally approved office computer automation equipment.
  • An associate or higher degree in business, management, logistics or the equivalent military service schools’ graduations to verify the abilities and competence required to perform in a wide scope of supply related tasks.
