Job summary Are you interested in helping mold the future of Amazon Science? The Science and Design Leadership Recruiting and Academic Partnerships team is looking for an experienced marketing manager to lead Amazon’s AI employer brand marketing strategy and execution. You will work closely with our science leadership and PR teams to firm up our messaging strategy, develop marketing assets, deploy and measure. This role is responsible for the marketing strategy, employer brand development, and communication strategy aimed at attracting niche AI talent. As the owner of these global initiatives, you will work closely with Amazon’s research leaders and executive recruiters across Amazon Alexa, AWS AI, Amazon Go, Core AI, Robotics, Search, Prime Air, Lab 126 and others. In this role, you will: ·Own goals around increasing awareness and favorability as an AI employer of choice. Work with internal teams and external vendors to design a consistent Amazon Science brand and toolkit of collateral that will translate to a variety of use cases, including AI conferences, recruiting and networking events, digital campaigns, and community-building events. · Define Amazon’s recruiting messaging and demos for the top 20 international research conferences across machine learning, computer vision, NLP, search/information retrieval, robotics, and artificial intelligence. · Train and prepare researchers and recruiters to represent the company at external events. · Partner with research and PR teams to curate technical demos and craft technical content, including blog posts, social media campaigns, and conference materials. · Develop new channels of engagement by partnering with external AI-related organizations and identifying new opportunities to bridge the gap between Amazon Science and the external research communities. Opportunities may include: keynote talks, strategic partnerships, academic funding, executive dinners, workshops, tutorials, competitions, data set releases, faculty summits, and open houses. · Develop project priorities, schedules and execution of marketing strategies. · Meet regularly with business lines and research leadership to ensure consistency of messaging.

The pay range for this position in Jersey City is $ 156,100 - 211,200/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the Pay Transparency Regulation of Jersey City Municipal Code. Base pay information is based on market location.
