Summary
Marketing Manager with a strong, demonstrated ability to plan, write, edit, and publish content with a consistent voice across various channels. Our ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional with a writing background and experience creating longer pieces of content to engage, inform, and retain customers. Graphic design experience preferred.
Essential Functions
- Author marketing communication projects including case studies, white papers, sales presentations, company and product descriptions, press releases, social media and related content.
- Contribute to marketing team initiatives, including website updates, video scripting, emails, and events.
- Provide proofreading and editing support to other team members
- Plan and deliver on communication objectives to showcase capabilities, products, and company positioning for our target audiences.
- Collaborate with business development teams on sales collateral; including email campaigns, email distribution, and other lead generating initiatives
- Other relative duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications or journalism, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
- Strong background creating high-performing, persuasive content with excellent grammar, spelling, and attention to detail.
- Expertise using Adobe Creative Suite or similar
- 3-8+ years of experience in content marketing or related work
- Security Integration industry experience a plus
- Channel marketing experience preferred
- Supervisory experience a plus
- up to 20% travel

- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Organization and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, problem solve, and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative team player mentality with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional groups

This job operates primarily in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. May occasionally require driving to project sites.
