Child & Family Services is looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to join our growing team! We are looking for someone who has excellent skills in brand management and marketing, but who is also passionate about mental health, social services and serving the community.

The Marketing & Communications Manager will drive the agency’s marketing strategy and initiatives for its full scope of services and programs. This individual will be responsible for the creation of marketing materials, events, campaigns, website messaging, digital media, and employer branding with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Marketing & Communications Manager promotes agency awareness and growth by incorporating a deep understanding of CFS program services and cultural values, and positioning them to fuel agency reach and growth in the behavioral health market. This individual reports directly to our Vice President of Development & Community Engagement.

This is a full-time, salary, exempt position.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Demonstrated marketing strategy and communications experience
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in content development
  • Excellent data analytics and web analysis skills

Responsibilities:

The following responsibilities are not meant to be all inclusive and may be adjusted to meet the agency’s needs:

Brand & Content Development

  • Build awareness and credibility for Child & Family Services brand, internally and externally
  • Manage CFS narrative and drive key messages in the context of organizational priorities, target audience perceptions and engagement, and continuously evolving external content
  • Shape key messages and branding to increase public awareness and enhance perceptions of the agency as a preferred behavioral health provider and employer
  • Create innovative marketing campaigns, website messaging, digital media, and employer branding
  • Work with CFS leadership to create program specific promotional materials

Media Outreach & Publications

  • Write press releases and articles to support agency public relations and invite involvement of target audiences, donors, and other stakeholders
  • Create marketing materials and promotional activities for agency events
  • Design and develop newsletters and monthly e-newsletters
  • Assist VP of Development in the design of the Agency’s Annual Report to the Community
  • Represent the agency’s interests in the community
