Summary

As a General Manager, you are driven and eager to do something that has never been done before. Being GM is one of the most important and challenging roles at PadSplit. You will oversee market performance and be a leading expert in your market's challenges. You are responsible for the Net Promoter Score (NPS) of our hosts and members and driving focus within the organization to the important challenges in your market. By ensuring we have happy hosts and happy members in the market, you will unlock the supply and demand growth levers needed to lead market and company profitability. You'll have the ability to engender trust across our hosts and members in market

You Will:

• Improve member and host NPS, keeping an active pulse on market performance, and drawing focus within the organization to solve important host and member challenges.
• Attend or host local events, work side-by-side with superhosts to ensure move-in readiness.
• Recruit and educate local vendors to support the PadSplit model.
• Interview new and prospective members for market insights, and run on-the-ground experiments and campaigns.
• Conduct market challenge analysis, and report out challenges and progress of those challenges to executive leadership.
• Your activities will get the flywheels turning and fuel learning for the team at headquarters and for our next market launch!
• You will report to the Head of Marketplace Health

You have:

• 5+ years of operations experience
• Experience managing up, draw focus to challenges, and resolve challenges
• Experience digesting complex problems, develop clear actions, and make decisions
• Experience with cross company collaboration and team management
• Sales or experience working with customers
• Management consulting, general manager, or investment banking experience
