Expectations to show high accuracy and agility to support Market Intel lead and execute upon key activities needed to run Crop Nutrients business.
Market Analysis - 30%
Stay current on energy, grains, and fertilizer commodity market developments. Conduct supporting analysis on markets and contribute to WFU’s point-of-view on fertilizer and related markets.
Reporting/Publishing - 30%
Update and distribute/publish Market Intel reports for both internal and external stakeholders. Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. for visual and written content. Verbal communication with internal stakeholders on market developments and analysis.
Data management & analytics - 30%
Overall management of Market Intel databases primarily in Excel. Updating and validating data from various 3rd party and internal sources. Updating and creating charts and tables. Developing new processes and analyses to improve overall Market Intel capability.
Projects/Other - 10%
Supporting Market Intel requests from internal and external stakeholders. Data and analysis requests. Helping with presentation slides.
Job Scope: Market analysis, reporting/publishing, data management & analytics
Required Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Agriculture, or related field - Related experience could be substituted for degree
0-3+ years’ related work experience
Proficiency in Excel/Microsoft
Strong with SQL, Power BI, or programming / data analytics ideal
Interest in Commodity/Agricultural Markets
Proven aptitude to display agility, learn new tasks, stay highly organized and accurate
