Tech Job Description
Skillsets Required:
3-5+ years manufacturing experience preferred.
Meet standards for physical demands:
Frequently and repetitively lift, push and carry
up to 35 lbs.
Frequently and repetitively bend, lift and
reach.
Climb and maintain balance on ladders,
scaffolding or other high structures.
Able to perform assembly work and receive safety
signals using sight, touch, and hearing.
Will be required to wear Personal Protective
Equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety shoes, bump
caps.
Potential exposure to confined spaces, hazardous
materials, and working at heights.
Must be able to read, speak and understand
English, both written and verbal.
Medically cleared to pass fit test to wear a N95
or a PAPR
Job Functions:

at all times.
Identify and assess safety risk at all times.

Take ownership for training to ensure equipment
is operated safely and to continuously learn and build capability and skill.
Communication
Communicate efficiently and effectively with
supervision and with equipment and engineering teams to escalate issues.
Share best practices with other crews.
Continuous Improvement
·
Identify continuous improvement opportunities
including safety/ergonomic concerns and yield and delivery concerns. Lead problem solving for small improvement
projects.
Execution
Execute housekeeping and ensure 5S is sustained.
Work with process techs, equipment techs, and
engineers to contain issues and solve problems to at least direct cause.
Meet targets of yield, delivery, and safety.
Perform autonomous maintenance type PMs.
Operate equipment according to standard
procedures.
Understand equipment controls, monitor recipes
and good run settings to ensure process is in control, and interact with
equipment as necessary.
Coordinate work for team based on planned and
unplanned downtime, production schedules, and cycle times.
Back-up for all positions in their area.
Ensure production schedules are being met for
the shift.
Communicate status of equipment and key KPIs to
supervision and to next shift.
Escalate issues as needed for support from
maintenance or engineering.
Basic OQC testing
Responsible for finished material quality for
the area.
