Job description

A Manufacturing Assembler is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces while adhering to a specified set of work instructions, blueprints or schematics. They verify the correct quantities of component parts, quality check completed items, manage parts inventory, and use hand tools/mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures.

• First, we want you to be part of a team by valuing your suggestions and contributions. From the product, to the tools, to the facility itself we are interested in hearing from you.
• The majority of our covers are made from aluminum and rubber components in which we cut, punch and assemble on various assembly lines. As a member of our team, you will complete a variety of these operations.
• We build covers from plastic that are formed on precise molds, glued together, trimmed, and assembled. Our paint line is one of the best in the country. This top-of-the-line process results in one of the best covers in the industry.
• Quality, Quality, Quality! Every employee, at every step, ensures we remain the best at what we do.
• Safety. This is a big deal at UnderCover. If it’s not safe, we don’t do it.
• A lot of handcrafting goes into producing these one-of-a-kind covers.
• Our jobs require some lifting, bending, and elbow grease.

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30pm
• Overtime on 1-2 Fridays per month

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Some experience with hand tools and basic measuring devices helpful.
