Managing Family Law Attorney

The Role

We are looking for a Managing Attorney with a dynamic mindset to lead our jurisdiction expansion. Our ideal candidate is an experienced attorney who wants to change the way family law is practiced. We are a client-focused law firm, that also prioritizes the well-being of our attorneys. The billable hour structure is outdated & it’s time for a change. This is a remote position.

About You

We are looking for candidates who want to innovate the way law is practiced. You will be assigned cases, conduct strategy sessions, oversee jurisdictional issues, and work with great support staff. We relentlessly pursue clients’ happiness with attention to detail and a passion for helping individuals through these tough times in their lives.

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina
• 7+ years of experience in Family Law
• Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills
• Willing and able to work and collaborate remotely
• Preferable to have solid experience in management

About the Role

• Independently manage a caseload, from start to finish
• Work closely with other attorneys on legal matters
• Work with cutting edge technology
• Handle court appearances and depositions as needed
• Provide status reports
• Manage outside co-counsel
• Establish and grow our law practice
