Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel) provides broadband services through its high speed, state-of-the-art fiber optic and cable networks to customers in the Mid-Atlantic United States. Job Summary:
The Manager, Wholesale Commercial Sales is responsible for the strategic planning and tactical execution required to meet or exceed wholesale sales objectives for fiber-based data services for Glo Fiber. This includes leading a team of wholesale sales account managers as well as working closely with other internal support personnel.

Qualification Requirements:
a. Education: BS/BA college degree (business, marketing, or related field) preferred. Equivalent industry experience will be considered.

b. Experience:
i. Five or more years of recent, proven experience with complex telecommunication and network services. Experience in rural markets preferred.
ii. Three or more years of experience managing teams; sales team management experience strongly preferred.
iii. Experience interfacing with senior-level customer contacts and positioning complex solutions to meet customers’ network and financial requirements.

c. Skills Summary:
i. Strong business and interpersonal communication skills.
ii. Self-motivated with the ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers and other Shentel employees.
iii. Proficient with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
iv. Proficient with Salesforce.com; preferably experience with CPQ Tools.
d. Licenses or Certifications: Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
