We are looking for an experienced Manager of Systems & Data Center Administration who is searching to do what they'll love - hands on technical systems administration! Do you have experience in managing a data center? Do you love food? If so, read on! We may have the role of a lifetime for you!

Trader Joe's is unlike any place you've ever worked. Trust us on that. The qualified professional has at least 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience and is a raving fan of the Trader Joe's concept. A Bachelor's Degree in Information Security or Computer Science is strongly preferred. This role is based in our office in Monrovia, California.

The Manager of Systems & Data Center Administration is responsible for the Management of a team of System Administrators and associated Partners to deliver on:

• 7x24 monitoring and support across all areas of responsibility
• Exceptional service delivery and continuous improvement philosophy
• Technology standards.
• Disaster Recovery and High Availability.
• Capacity planning (short term and long term strategic plans)
• Patching and maintenance (operating systems, applications, hardware, and database)
• Data center management
• Incident management, RCA/Problem Management, Change Management, event Management, SLA's, production support, and office technology support
• Working inside and outside of IT to drive improvements for day-to-day operations as well as for the technology strategic direction
• Maintaining effective professional and collaborative relationships within IT, within the functional business areas and across our associated technology partners

The qualified professional has:

• Experience with on-prem migration of exchange to Office 365 or set-up/support of DevOps
• At least 5 to 7 years of direct hands-on experience working with the following technology and service partners in support of: Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco UCS, HPE Storage, VMware/Esx, Load Balancers, DellData Domains, SD/WAN (and providers), Active Directory, DNS, exchange, Windows Server Administration, Powershell scripting, Data center infrastructure, and more
• Experience with application migrations between Data centers
• Proven track record in managing partners and matrixed project resources
• Proven track record evaluating, selecting and implementing systems
• College degree or relevant experience required, with Information Security and/or Computer Science degree is a plus
