Job Title: Manager Operations

Reports to: Senior Manager Operations

Department: Warehouse/Operations

Purpose of Job:

This position is responsible for managing the operations of all production areas to ensure that volume, cost, and quality standards are achieved. This includes ensuring that manufacturing and fulfillment processes run reliably and efficiently. Must oversee and assist employees in productivity and ensuring employees are following company policies and procedures including safety precautions.

Duties Include:

• Helping in providing the production process and schedule, overseeing quality control, and ensuring products are produced within the deadline.
• Other tasks, include utilizing needed human and material resources, creating a timescale for production, supervising production processes, and adjusting schedules when needed.
• Responsible for procuring and monitoring the use of equipment
• Helping in checking product standards and applying quality-control procedures, communicating and assisting with other departments daily, completing paperwork of the production manager and performing various tasks as assigned.
• Other duties include cleanliness of warehouse, managing PTO/attendance calendar, scheduling, requesting personnel, coaching write-ups, tracking incentives, daily reports, attending meetings, and security of the warehouse at the end of shift.
• Upon management request perform other duties and tasks as needed
• Hold employees accountable to performance improvement process
• Administer write-ups/coaching’s in accordance with acceptable conduct policy

• Requires working overtime hours, working weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Requires working in areas with temperature and humidity variations based on local weather conditions.

• 2-3 years of management experience
• Must be able to communicate effectively and motivate employees
• Must be able to respond to changing operational demands
• Must have basic computer skills and experience
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs alone and 175 lbs with assistance
• Abe to climb ladders up to 24 ft High
• Able to bend, twist, kneel, lift, stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to pay attention to detail
• Adapt to changing environment
• Prioritize, work well under time pressure, and focus on work in midst of noise
• Adhere to and comply with all company procedures, regulations, and safety laws
