Job Description

As Director of Technology, your primary responsibilities are to plan, organize and direct the development, design and operation of IT services across our platforms. Including the supervision of technicians, programmers and other staff involved.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Will provide leadership and vision for the continuous planning and

evaluation of information technology requirements.

  • Oversee development and maintenance of applications for necessary IT,

clinical, research, and administrative functions.

  • Oversee provision of and decisions relating to end-user services,

including help desk and technical support services, develop and

implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for

architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing and

service provision.

  • Interpret and implement all mandated institutional and regulatory

policies, procedures and negotiated agreements.

  • Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications

with CEO, Director of Operations and end-users regarding pertinent IT

activities and the ongoing management of information security, policies

and procedures and technical systems in order to maintain the confidentiality,

integrity and availability of systems that support out

customers.

  • Responsible for full development life cycle from planning through

successful release and support.

  • Participate in decision making concerning software architecture and

design and in code reviews.

  • Mentor and assist in the training and onboarding of other team members
  • Work closely with other members of the development team and

stakeholders.

  • Maintain high standards, attention to detail, accuracy and completeness.

Skill required:

  • 3 or more years of experience developing software in an Agile, team

based environment

  • 1 or more years of experience developing responsive web applications
  • BS and/or MS in a technical discipline (Computer Science or Software

Engineering preferred)

  • Strong understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns
  • Expertise with C#, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, ASP.NET Framework,

ASP.NET CORE. Angular JS is a plus.

  • Familiarity with web and browser technologies such as web sockets,

service workers, LocalStorage, SessionStorage, and W3C manifests

  • Full-stack web development including front end, business logic, and data

access layers.

  • Experience building RESTful web services using Web API
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, or other relational

databases

  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Participate in decision making concerning software architecture and
