Job description
Haley Residential, a privately held company that owns & manages apartment communities, is seeking a Make-Ready Technician for our Hickory Grove Apartments in Broken Arrow, OK.
This position ensures that all vacated apartments in the 160-unit community are thoroughly restored to market ready status in a timely manner. Additionally, this position assists maintenance technicians to maintain the physical integrity of our apartment community and ensure our residents’ comfort & safety.
Responsibilities include:
- Removing trash and debris left by previous resident in vacant units
- Removing nails, patching holes and light sanding of walls & doors when needed in preparation for paint
- Ensuring all appliances are in proper working condition and repairing as necessary
- Identifying and repairing any leaks to ensure that plumbing is working as intended
- Identifying and repairing electrical issues in units as needed
- Assisting other maintenance personnel in completing service request
- Assisting in keeping grounds and facilities clean
- Performing other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and/or experience:
- General knowledge of all phases of the make ready process
- Light electrical, plumbing, paint, texture, sheetrock and carpentry experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC (Preferred)
- Ability & desire to work at a fast pace under time restrictions
