Maintenance Worker - Mount Kisco, NY - *$1,000.00 Signing Bonus after successful completion of 3 month probationary period

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for general upkeep of assigned CLC operated locations daily
• Responsible for reviewing and completing daily work orders and turning them in once completed
• Communicate with the Facility Operations Manager and other maintenance staff of any major repairs or problems noticed while on site daily
• Conduct weekly walkthroughs of assigned locations to ensure overall operation safety
• Complete and turn in purchase request Forms after every purchase to the Purchasing Department.
• Perform minor carpentry work when needed
• Painting as needed
• Repair work on small kitchen appliances and vacuum cleaners as needed
• Installation of tile or ceramic flooring as needed
• Assist co-workers on special projects as needed
• Assisting the Residential Department with consumer moves as needed
• Assist the Purchasing Department as needed
• Work on-call during rotated weekend shifts
• Ensure that all job sites are left in clean and safe condition. Quality of all work is to be of highest professional standard.
• On a daily basis, all Maintenance vans are to be kept in a neat, orderly manner

Education and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid NYS Driver’s License
• Possess knowledge of plumbing, heating, ventilation, electrical wiring
• Attend and pass all required training, training renewals and updates mandated by NYS, OPWDD and by CLC.
• To execute all policies and procedures adopted by CLC. In particular, abuse prevention, reporting of abuse and protection of consumers rights is critically important.
• Demonstrate a professional and positive working attitude and communicate effectively to supervisors and co-workers.
