The Right Candidate Should Have…

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, HVAC, lighting, and plumbing systems along with the ability to perform maintenance and repair of systems
• General understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations
• The ability to work with minimal to no supervision
• The ability to use a computer and the facilities management software provided at the community

General Day to Day Responsibilities Will Include…

• Utilizes facilities tracking system for the completion of work orders and other assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Performs duties as assigned by Facilities Director that include but are not limited to:
  • Routine maintenance of the interiors and exteriors of the community, including electrical, emergency systems, HVAC, equipment, apartments, common areas, etc.
  • Preventative and emergency maintenance
  • Preparing make-ready apartments before move-in and upon move-out
  • Routine security rounds
  • Responds to emergency calls when requested
  • Assists housekeeping as needed, including trash pick-ups
  • Assists in moving furniture/fixtures/appliances as needed
• Work as part of a close-knit team to perform other duties as needed to support the success of the community and our residents.
