Service Technician

Job Summary and Mission

The Service Technician puts a face to the WOW customer service we provide. The Service Technician performs maintenance and repair to Salon Lofts provided equipment, salon common areas and the on-site responder to Loft Owner reported issues. Good mechanical and people skills are equally important in this role as their relationship to the loft owner is vital to our success. Be a brand ambassador by displaying good cheer to everyone while in the salon.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Mechanically repair all SL provided equipment in the lofts
• Maintain, repair, and replace items/equipment in and around the common areas of the salon
• Communicate to your supervisor any items/areas in need of repair by a licensed contractor
• Manage and inventory the stock items used for repair and equipment supplied in lofts
• Communicate with Loft Owners regularly
• Communicate with the Market Managers regularly
• Communicate with Facilities Mgmt. daily
• Meet contractors and others to gain access to the Salon or Lofts when needed
• Monitor contractors and others when working in Salon or Lofts when needed

Summary of Experience

• General Maintenance and Repair experience
• Customer Service experience

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Good working knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Carpentry, General Maintenance
• Knowledge of programmable thermostats
• Knowledge and ability to use tablets, laptops, and smartphones
• Strong verbal skills
• Knowledge of General Customer Service tactics
• Knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to respond to changing work environments
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to lift 50 pounds of weight
• Ability to climb and work on ladders

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
