Are you interested in obtaining knowledge in safety, performance/preventative maintenance, and effective troubleshooting? Do you enjoy handling multiple tasks and working in a team environment? The Junior Maintenance Technicians position is designed for persons who aspire to maintain the highest nobility for production. A learning program under the supervision of the Maintenance Technician & employee evaluations can be completed every six months to evaluate knowledge and ensure that standards and safety regulations are observed.
Major Responsibilities:
- Respond to breakdown and scheduled work effectively. (40% of daily activities)
- Respond to all machine failures; assist Maintenance Technicians as needed with troubleshooting, repairing and rebuilding all major equipment during production breakdowns. (20% of daily activities)
- Being compliant with health and safety regulations (15% of daily activities)
- Assist with facility cleaning activities as needed. (10% of daily activities)
- Work with Maintenance Planner to identify spare parts and quantities needed on hand. (15% of daily activities)
- Participate in various levels of internal and external audits (As required)
- Make continuous improvement efforts through Kaizen work philosophy to minimize problems and increase solutions regarding the plant equipment and systems.
Requirements:
- Education – High school diploma, equivalent certificate, or graduating Senior.
- Basic or entry level knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic systems preferred.
- Previous experience working with computers, Fanuc Robotics, and in a production environment that demonstrates ability to learn multiple tasks is also preferred but not required.
- Previous experience working with automotive or other maintenance such as changing hydraulic hoses, fuses, broken wires, etc. is preferred but also not required.
- Excellent record of attendance (willing to work overtime and weekends as needed)
- Ability to perform visual inspections, mechanical measurements, and calibration verifications (micrometers, calipers, etc.) is preferred but will be taught if not.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
