Maintenance Technician

Shifts:
- 1st, 3rd and weekend shifts available
- Overtime will be offered based on needs
Pay Rate:
- $20.00 per hour (Could be more depending on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Reports to Maintenance Manager any information that may impede the operation of the plant as soon as it becomes available
- Demonstrate ability to teach other maintenance classifications in all qualification requirements and proper maintenance procedures
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Conduct selective inventory monthly of maintenance parts and supplies
- Demonstrate ability to use all aspects of the maintenance software program
- Order parts and supplies
- Demonstrate ability to plan and schedule maintenance work, assign work to other maintenance according to their abilities and limitations
- Attend all plant safety meetings
- Improve career skills by enrolling in seminars, technical courses and related college courses
- Practice safe work habits at all times
- Attend all maintenance planning meetings
- Follow up on all work orders to ensure repairs and work are performed properly
- Maximize the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speed
- Complete all necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping
- Ability to work overtime as the job requires
- Perform maintenance cleanup daily, weekly and monthly
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read tape measure
- Must have at least 2 years of machine operating experience
- Use basic body mechanics as you will be moving, walking, twisting, using upper body
- Must be able to lift/and or move up to 50 lbs.
