Job description

We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician with PLC experience to join the team at a manufacturing company in Grand Rapids. Pay based on experience - $25-30+.

The Maintenance / PLC Technician will help to increase the productivity of automated equipment by troubleshooting and correcting electrical or mechanical issues with the controls.

Maintenance / PLC Technician Responsibilities:

  • Edit PLC programs as needed to accommodate for changes to equipment and products.
  • Edit robot programs as needed for new palletizing patterns.
  • Make edits to the camera OCV Code inspection layouts
  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic valves, motors and gearboxes
  • Perform repairs and rebuilds to ink jet and thermal transfer printers

Experience needed for Maintenance / PLC Technicians:

  • Circuit design, control panel assembly
  • 5+ years of industrial electrical experience
  • PLC programming troubleshooting
  • Attention to detail and perform work to the highest professional standards

Shift details for Maintenance / PLC Technician:

Monday-Thursday, 5:30 am – 4 pm
