The Stilly Valley Center is hiring for a full-time Maintenance Personnel (40 hours per week, Monday through Friday).

This position includes 11 paid holidays and 1 floating holiday. It also includes vacation and sick time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Check emails and phone messages. Respond timely and appropriately

2. Establish and maintain inventory of – maintenance supplies/Tools

3. Credit Card reconciliation on a monthly basis

4. Knowledge of General Ledger Accounts for properly coding purchases

Prepare Purchase Orders, attach invoice and deliver to Accounts Payable Dept.

5. Contact vendors for bids for work such as –

· Asphalt repair

· Roof repair/replacement

· Roof and gutter cleaning

6. Schedule work such as repairs, installation of such items as carpet and vinyl

7. Research products or supplies not normally stocked for best price

8. Keep work orders properly filed when work is complete and signed off by Maintenance Personnel

9. Meet with new resident on day of move in and do a walkthrough of apartment and complete the move in form

Assist Maintenance Personnel with preparation of apartment for re-renting upon resident move out –cleaning

Assist with Janitorial and other duties as assign

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour
