Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is one of New Jersey’s largest non-profit social service agencies with programs and facilities serving Bergen, Essex, Hudson, and Union counties.

We are currently seeking for Fulltime Maintenance Mechanic for our Pathways to Housing program located in Newark NJ.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for all site repairs including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and flooring
• Handle all building emergencies including inclement weather and floods
• Performs any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift or carry furniture over 50 pounds and plant services equipment

A High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required and 1 year related experience in carpentry, plumbing and/or electric is preferred but not required.
