Job Summary:

This position performs Electrical repair work throughout the plant facility as well as repairing and servicing deli production equipment. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical applications required along with the understanding of mechanical and electrical assembly and/or trouble shooting for various pieces of equipment. Understand 120v, 220v, 480v single phase and three phase electrical systems. Doing all the above tasks keeping safety as the number one priority such as following proper LOTO procedures. Must have a ”How can I” attitude when it comes to supporting production to meet their daily product volume.

Essential Job Functions:

• Electrical Repairs and services below:
• City code
• Install/move drop cords (120V-480V)
• Inside and outside lighting

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, or replace faulty mechanical and/or electrical equipment
• Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunctions with other maintenance workers and supervisor
• Strong maintenance knowledge and ability to work in any area as a mechanic/electrician as needed or assigned
• Be able to be certified to drive fork and scissor lift
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

• Regularly lift and / or move up to 10 lbs.
• Ability to reach, stand, kneel, squat, and lift 50 pounds repeatedly
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds

Position Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Trade/Tech School preferred
• Certified electrician
• Self-motivated, goal oriented, safety and environmentally conscious with good written and verbal skills
• Flexible to work overtime, any shift and any day of the week to support the 24/7 operation in a 35°F environment
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical applications, assembly and/or trouble shooting for various pieces of equipment.
• Understand 120v, 220v, 480v single phase and three phase electrical systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
