Meadowbrook of Bolingbrook is now hiring a Maintenance Director to join our team

The Maintenance Director is responsible for all aspects of building and ground maintenance. Monitoring the facility's physical plant to remain in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Performs periodic inspections of the building and grounds to ensure proper repair, cleanliness, and laundry service quality.

• Places orders for necessary supplies in accordance with departmental budget.

• Ensures the general good order of the facility

• Ensures staff is following proper procedures to ensure residents safety.

• Implement, Track, Log and ensure all Life Safety systems are in working order and documented as per IDPH requirements.

• Perform minor repairs and supervise the day-to-day repair, improvement and preventive maintenance of the building, equipment, lawn, and grounds.

• Arrange for the outside repair, maintenance, and construction services according to procedures; and may perform and supervise floor care.

• Assist with construction and renovation projects at the facility as necessary.

Requirements:

• Prior IDPH Life Safety experience

• Understanding of Job Safety protocols

• Familiar with OSHA requirements with respect to Healthcare

• Understanding of budgeting processes, awareness of profit & loss concepts

• Excellent administrative and organizational skills and an ability to prioritize

• Strong stress management and leadership skills required

• Compliant with IDPH requirements regarding Criminal Backgrounds.
