Job Summary:

The Machine Cleaner will perform janitorial duties in an industrial setting with a focus on cleaning industrial equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities:
· Cleans and maintains factory and industrial equipment.

· Ensures equipment is free of grease, oil, residue, and other materials.

· Cleans floors around machinery and elsewhere in the facility as assigned.

· Performs other basic janitorial services to ensure the facility is clean and safe; tasks may include picking up trash, emptying receptacles, and stocking restrooms in the facility as required.

· Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to use hand cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, and brushes.

· Ability to use power cleaning tools such as vacuums and floor scrubbers.

· Ability to follow and read instructions and use cleaning chemicals and agents properly.

· Ability to learn cleaning procedures for industrial equipment.

Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Previous experience preferred.

· On-the-job training provided.

Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.

· Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
