Hospital-based Out-Patient Surgical Unit seeks both F/T and P/T LPN candidates

• ATTENTION: ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE PROOF OF COVID-19 VACCINATION - COVID-19 VACCINATION IS MANDATORY FOR THIS POSITION IN ACCORDANCE WITH HOSPITAL POLICY AND NYS DEPT. OF HEALTH.

This position is a unique opportunity for a dedicated, reliable, and professional LPN with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for nursing/caring to work with their full nursing skill-set in a fast-paced hospital-based surgical environment.

This position will include a reasonably fixed schedule:

Monday – Friday (8 hrs/day), or 4 day work week @ 10 hrs/day + and a 4-hour rotational Saturday (8a-12pm) every 1-2 months.

The nursing candidate will be expected to work within those hours, including occasional/pre-determined Saturdays.

• follow instruction from RN staff
• be comfortable with EHR documentation

• Current CPR Certification
• College Diploma / LPN Trade Diploma

Hires are provisional pending successfully completion of:

• Criminal background investigation
• Medical Fitness Clearance through Northwell Health Employee Health Services, including drug screening and proof of vaccination history.

*Special consideration will be given to candidates possessing experience in wound care and/or hyperbaric medicine.'
