Summary:
Provides support to a Summa Health Group practice by overseeing all clinical practice issues: compliance with all clinical regulations (CLIA, TDL, OSHA, etc.), patient care quality issues, clinical coordination, etc. Functions as clinical coordinator for Medical Practice. Coordinates clinical care of patients in the practice, including but not limited to: patient phone calls, follows-up, lab maintenance, clinical staff training, validating on-going clinical competencies, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

1.Formal Education Required:
a.Possesses a current, unrestricted Ohio license for a Licensed Practical Nurse
b.Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare management or related field preferred
c.BLS-C certification during initial training period and maintain certification thereafter

2.Experience and Training Required:
a.Five (5) years prior experience working in a medical office or patient care facility.

3.Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
a.Ability to operate sterilizers, adjust procedure tables and accessory devices, and handle instruments.
b.Demonstrates flexibility/adaptability in meeting environmental constraints and demands placed on services as is common with changing reimbursement and managed care targets.
c.Demonstrates full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
d.Demonstrates vision and hearing to normal range and/or corrected vision/hearing to normal range
e.Ability to work under stressful conditions and/or work irregular hours.
f.Population Specific Competency: ability to effectively interact with patients/customers with the understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.

a.Sedentary: Exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently
