As a Logistics Specialist I, you assist with the preparation of our logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. You'll support routing, documenting, and coordinating shipping logistics, records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals, and tracking logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of our storage facilities. You'll learn applicable state, federal, and global regulations and import/export requirements.

Responsibilities:
Document and archive all receipts, location transfers, customer requests for continuity
Archive and maintain digital and physical archives of records
Receive, package / preserve, and maintain inventory in appropriately sized locations
Perform transactions utilizing automated applications to issue and status material
Input data into automated accounting system. Run reports and resolve any inaccuracies related to material on daily / weekly basis
Generate pick lists based on manufacturing order release date, assembles, processes, and packages kits to deliver to customer
Stock material in appropriate locations based on component size / weight / ESD / hazardous designations
Maintain storage areas in clean and orderly condition
Comply with all company safety standards, policies and procedures
Issue and maintain packaging and preservation equipment / supplies for the warehouse and business area as needed

Must-haves:
High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 0-2 years of experience
A higher level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
Customer service skills
The ability to lift 50lbs. and successfully pass a non-DOT physical that includes a baseline audiogram and a vision test is required
A current driver’s license and satisfactory driving record is required
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred:
HazMat Training/Certification
Ability to operate a Forklift
