Job description
General Summary:
Logistics lead supervise the movement, distribution, and storage of supplies and materials in the company. They organize the warehouse, label goods, and process shipments. They also respond to any issues or complaints and work with other departments to incorporate logistics into company procedures and operations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Drop Shipment coordination and management
- Utilize NetSuite to process movements of goods shipped and received
- Assist with inventory of used/refurbished equipment
- Assist with equipment returns/exchanges or RMAs
- ETA follow-up and sales order preparation in coordination with Operations
- Regularly schedule inventory product counts
- Monitor stock levels and communicate with Supply Chain to coordinate replacement orders
- Manage day-to-day company assets (ex: fleet vehicles)
- Warehouse organization, safety protocols, and 5S
- Forklift Operator Certification
- Coordinate with external third-party logistics companies for scheduling of deliveries/shipments
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent record keeping
- Experience using Microsoft products and accounting software
- Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 2-year degree preferred
- 1+ years’ experience in logistics or warehouse role with similar responsibilities required
- 1+ years’ experience in communications solutions or technology product industry preferred
