We have an opportunity to add a Logistics Analyst to our team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Logistics Analyst, you will responsible for report automation, data integrity and generating cost savings. The logistics analyst will be responsible for ensuring best way practices are used along with assist with building out the logistics program at Ammega in a corporate level.

A day in the life of a Logistics Analyst can look like:

• Manage data and information flow to the field offices along with offer-streamlined processes
• Determine when we should ship our material in a FTL, LTL, and courier for our internal transfers
• Reconcile US Customs ACH account in cooperation with finance
• Team collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Track and trace shipments on various vendor sites and/or internal systems
• Facilitate conversation between inventory, purchasing, production and sales
• Ability to show leadership and patience when working in high stress situations
• Identify cost saving initiatives in the supply chain and implement initiatives to drive savings
• Lead quarterly project to drive final mile costs down based on current market conditions

We are looking for you to have

• Self-starting individual, that is computer savvy and has a willingness to learn.
• 3-5 years of logistics experience in a fast moving organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

The physical requirements include

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk or hear; uses hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls.
• Duties include data entry 80% of the time. The employee may lift, push or pull up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
