A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LOAN OPERATIONS CLERK

As a Loan Operations Clerk with our credit union, you play an essential role in greeting and assisting customers with their financial needs. You answer the phone and direct calls to relevant staff. Using your exceptional organizational skills, you support our records retention function by scanning and managing a range of documents. You also sort, code, and file materials or records in accordance with policies and procedures. Other organizational duties include releasing and terminating collateral associated with mortgages, water rights, state leases, fixture filings, or FSA guarantees.

In addition, you assist with covenant tracking and other special projects as requested. At times, you perform a variety of administrative duties, including general correspondence, research, and shredding documents. You always ensure you're in compliance with FCBT or other technology and security standards with every task you do. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LOAN OPERATIONS CLERK

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge about accounting or finance systems and principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Ability to use office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
• Excellent customer service skills

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A LOAN OPERATIONS CLERK

This part-time finance position in banking works a flexible schedule of 20 hours per week, preferably 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Tuesday and 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday.
