Lewis Rice LLC, a large downtown St. Louis law firm, has an opening for a Litigation Support Paralegal. The hours of the position are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position offers excellent salary commensurate with experience and an excellent comprehensive benefits package including major medical plans, 401(k) plan, and paid parking.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Defining case requirements; culling, analyzing, and reviewing discovery data
- Analyzing, uploading, Bates stamping, and processing data for production
- Creation of visual aids for reports and presentations; analyzing usage and efficiency of eDiscovery platform
- Familiarity with legal procedures, terms, and processes
- Manipulate load files and conduct quality checks prior to loading data and producing documents
- Work closely with all members of the legal team throughout all stages of the litigation lifecycle
- Manage secure receipt, encryption, and transmittal of client data including logging and maintaining status tracking charts
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
- In depth understanding of Electronic Discovery Reference Model
- Excellent skills using eDiscovery software platforms
- 2+ years of experience as a litigation support analyst or paralegal utilizing and analyzing eDiscovery platforms
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
