Messner Reeves LLP, an established full-service, business law firm, seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney to defend companies in corporate, commercial litigation, breach of contract, construction and healthcare disputes.
The ideal candidate will have one to three years’ experience and excellent academic credentials. Candidates must be committed to client service and be analytical and quick learner.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Experience drafting and arguing motions.
• Assist with a caseload of predominately construction defect and general liability insurance defense litigation.
• Experience handling all phases of complex commercial and civil litigation matters.
• Proficiency in taking depositions, hearing attendance and trial preparation.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Proven working experience in Insurance Defense Litigation.
• Working knowledge of Office 2013, Outlook 365, LexisNexis and court filing docketing.
• Extensive computer and database expertise
• Candidate should be pro-active to handle necessary tasks for busy attorneys without constant oversight.
• The ideal candidate will take the initiative, have strong attention to detail, highly organized & has impeccable communication skills.
• Licensed to practice law in California.
