Ad hoc Research is looking for a talented Linux systems administrator to join our team.

Role and Responsibilities:

Provide Linux support to software developers and system engineers.

Experience with PHP is preferred.

Coordinate changes to Applications that include applications in a UNIX/LINUX server environment.

Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard applications using accepted industry practices and/ or organizational policies.

Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments associated with PHP, SQL, JAVA and/or Lucee/ColdFusion development.

Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge.

Directs and controls activities for a client, methods, and ensures that technical requirements are met.

Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.

Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
