Job description
We have a Sewing Feder/Water Strider position openFlanged panels are the top sleep surface of every mattress. Matt caps cover the side and bottom of each mattress. Panels and matt caps are produced in sets of 20 called "trains". The position is responsible for ensuring the trains of panels are properly matched with corresponding trains of matt caps and are staged in front of flangers operators as needed, without waiting. Panels and matt caps are manually delivered by this person on wheeled carts. This person will track completed trains on a schedule sheet and report progress to the Supervisor throughout the day. Additionally, this person is responsible for repairing thread skips in quilted panel stitching, as needed.
