Settlers Bay Lodge is looking for a motivated, hardworking and positive individual to join our team. Must be fast on their feet and possess the ability to to remain calm in high-stress situations. When working on the line or in the kitchen, you can expect to work closely with all other staff members to ensure a positive dining experience for all our guests.

Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to.

* Completing the responsibilities and prep the list created by the chef.
* Preparing and stocking the line for the night ahead.
* Correctly cooking and preparing the food orders in a timely matter.
* Labeling and stocking all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible.
* Measuring ingredients and seasonings to be used in recipes and preparing dishes.
* Preparing ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.
* Maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surface's, taking out trash, etc.
* Complying with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
* Properly breaking down and cleaning the ling after each shift.
* Performing other kitchen duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Must have 3+ years of previous cooking experience.
* Must have an open schedule with NO limitations.
* Able to meet the physical demands of working in a busy kitchen/restaurant.
* Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail.
* Enjoys and works well being part of a team.

Compensation will depend on experience. No walk-ins will be accepted, please email in resume.
