Lighting Installation Technician | Blingle! Of Overland Park (you do not have to be a licensed electrician)

Pay range $20- $25 per hour based on experience, plus bonus potential!

About The Role, what is a typical day.

Blingle! Lead Lighting Technician is a key role within our team - accountable for successful installation and completion of lighting projects applying best practices while maintaining safe and professional standards. Blingle will provide the appropriate training.

No electrical license required– all low voltage products.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills - someone who embodies an eagerness to learn on the job, is self-driven with a passion for delivering quality work, creative, excellent communication, active listener, team player, dependable, problem-solver, project management skills. Attention to detail and respect for our customers' property is critical. A flexible schedule is feasible to accommodate evening installations/walk-throughs as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review job(s) for the day based on work orders.
• Drive truck/trailer safely and according to local regulations.
• Confirm that truck/trailer is prepared for the day including the following:
• All lighting for each project to be completed that day.
• Additional lighting materials as needed.
• Responsible for ensuring crew production and safety to Blingle standard.
• Assess the job and determine proper start location.
• Complete work as described in work order.
• Complete any on-site clean-up needed.
• Complete final walkthrough on-site with customer
• Complete any required record keeping and submit receipts as relevant.

Work Environment:

• This job operates primarily indoors/outdoors and in accordance with weather conditions.

Position Type/Expected hours worked:

• This is a full-time position, and the hours of work and days are four days a week, ten hours a day (flexible start/end times) unless otherwise specified. Regular, punctual, and consistent attendance is required (subject to weather permitting)

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED, required.
• Strong communication and people skills
• Good organizational skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• Pass a post-offer assessment/background check.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

• Landscape Design
• Irrigation background
• Roofing background
