Job description

We are seeking a part time, after school or during the day helper, to perform simple maintenance work at our child care facility located in Croton on Hudson, Town of Cortlandt.

Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Filling soap and towel dispensers
• Moving light boxes and putting away supplies
• Moving chairs and tables
• Putting up and taking down decorations
• Some outdoor cleanup.
• Minor cleaning and vacuuming, we have a cleaning service
• Availability to do early morning minor snow shoveling and blowing in winter. We have a plow service but you MUST have a snow worthy car and be willing to come in before opening to help with snow cleanup where the plow cannot clear.

Must be responsible and communicative, show up for work at the designated time. 5-10 hours or more per week, flexible schedule. You must be comfortable around children.

You must live within 30 minutes of the facility, have your own car for transportation and have proof of full COVID vaccine for your application to be considered. Must wear a mask inside facility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• After school
• Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff are required to wear masks as per NY state regulations. Those with symptoms of illness will not be permitted to enter the building. COVID vaccines are required for all staff.
