What You’ll Do
As a Lift Ticket Checker at Snowbird, you are monitoring guest admittance to lift stations. You are ensuring the safe use and operation of Snowbird’s gate system. You’ll offer friendly customer service that exceeds guest’s expectations.

Specific Areas of Responsibility:
- Operates ticket gates in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensures areas around lift stations are safe and free of hazards.
- Answers any guest questions and addresses any guest concerns or pass problems to exceed customer service expectations.
- Works with all departments and employees at Snowbird to ensure mountain operations run smoothly and safely.
What You Need to Get the Job Done
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
- Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.
- 6 months or more of customer service-related work experience with demonstrated competence.
- Must be able to write legibly in order to fill out log sheets
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least18 years of age
Work Schedule
- Specific Shift: 5 days a week, 8 hour shifts. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Must be prepared to stay overnight if necessary, on occasional times of road closures.
Work Conditions
- May experience unusual stress from continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Work is outdoors and requires constant exposure to cold and other extreme weather.
- Work is subject to frequent interruptions making continuity and accuracy difficult.
- Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.
