NOC shift

Our company is looking for a LVN to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Takes and records patients’ vital signs. Dresses wounds and apples topical medications;
• Ability to adequately assess and reassess pain. Utilizes appropriate pain management techniques;
• Assesses the residents condition and nursing needs, initiates appropriate nursing action.

Requirements:

• Ability to lead and motivate;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Able to work cohesively with patients/residents, physicians and other team members;
• Current license by the State Board of Nursing, as a LPN or LVN;
• Maintains regulatory requirements. Maintains resident confidentiality at all times;
• Attends monthly staff meetings. Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner;
• Reports to work on time and as scheduled, completes work within designated time;
• Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices;
• Attends annual review and department inservices, as scheduled;
• Complete annual education requirements;
• Wears identification while on duty, uses computerized punch time system correctly;
• Completes inservices and returns in a timely fashion;
• Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the facility;
• Actively participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
