Qualifications:

• Current CA license in good standing
• 2+ years experience in long-term care preferred
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Outstanding communication skills
• Positive, professional, and calm demeanor in all work-related situations

Responsibilities:

• Observes, reports, and documents/charting on patient conditions
• Administers medications in accordance with physician orders
• Takes and records temperatures, respiration, and pulse
• Sets up treatment trays, and prepares instruments and/or other equipment, as needed
• Maintains working knowledge of assigned patient’s conditions at all times
• Reviews reports from previous shifts to determine changes in the status of residents and assigns various duties to C.N.A.’s or other nursing personnel
• Turns over accurate records and ensures oncoming shift nurses are updated
• Responsible for notifying the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) and/or Administrator of changes in patient condition or other job-related problems

Encinitas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a 24-hour skilled nursing facility located in Encinitas. Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals works to help patients recover from surgery, injury or serious illness.
As a team, we strive to exceed the expectations of those we serve and our purpose is to provide our patients with positive rehabilitative therapy and exceptional nursing care. We want to help patients achieve their highest possible functioning level and to assist them in returning to the lowest level of care practical.

Pay: $38 - $45 / hour
