Seaside is looking for full time and PRN LPN's to join our team.
Psychiatric experience is preferred but not necessary. We will train new graduates.

REQUIREMENTS
:
- Louisiana or Multi-State License - LPN
- No experience required - we will train you!
- Desire to work in mental health

Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Manages medication administration. Administers medications within one hour before and one hour after scheduled time.
- Provides care to clients as directed according to the psychiatric nursing standards of practice
.- Assists clients in learning appropriate self-care techniques.
- Assist RN in completion of admission documentation
- Completes Daily Treatment Team progress note, graphic sheets and other forms as assigned.
- Assist in planning and exchanging information with other health professionals.
- Documents significant occurrences, observed behaviors, vital signs, nutritional intake and output, sleep graphs and daily education in the patient record.
- Attends treatment team, shift report and meets with the quality improvement reviewer as needed.
- Performs Medication groups
