The Administrator has total responsibility of the personal care home and establishes and directs the overall operation of the facility in compliance with all federal, state, and local guidelines, standards and regulations. Responsible for to staffing, payroll and benefits administration, budget, fiscal management, clinical care delivery, staff training and education programs, operational and capital expenditures, and operational decision-making - the position is supported both operationally and clinically by Affinity Health Services.

Position requires a license in PA to work as a personal care home administrator.

Work Schedule is Monday – Friday.

What you can expect as part of the Team:
*The PCH Administrator Primary Focus Areas include but are not limited to....

· Develops and establishes policies and procedures pertaining to all aspects of personal care home service objectives.

· Monitors resident care outcomes and staff performance of duties to ensure policies and procedures are executed according to facility policies.

· Effectively communicates and supervises all department staff for compliance with applicable job responsibilities and expectations.

· Ensures the hiring, training, and orienting of new personnel and conducts staff meetings

· Initiates various related personnel functions such as conducting in-services, training, performance evaluations, competency verifications, promotions, disciplinary actions, etc, in accordance with facility policy

· Assures adequate staffing is maintained so as to meet the needs of each resident.

· Assures ancillary services meet the medical and psychosocial needs of the residents.

· Coordinates inspections and survey process completed by outside regulatory agencies and establishes plans of correction, as warranted.

· Assures that general responsibilities of personal care home administration are completed according to best practice standards.

· Assumes on call responsibilities and understands the position is subject to frequent interruptions with ability to adjust work tasks and schedules accordingly.

What’s needed to join Our Team: *Candidate Must....

· Be a licensed PCH Administrator in the state of PA

· Have a Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a health care facility or geriatric setting

· Maintain/Obtain a Certification in CPR

· Complete a pre-employment physical and drug test

· Be licensed to operate a motor vehicle

· Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in dealing with elderly and ill populations, health care providers and community services

· Possess knowledge of personal care home policies and procedures as they relate to activity personnel and care of residents
