Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work on and install electrical systems in office, retail and industrial properties to include: Interior electrical, Main Distribution Panels, Circuit Breaker Panels, Conduit and Wiring, Lighting Upgrades, Buildouts, Service Repair and Upgrades, Exterior Lighting
• Diagnose and troubleshoot a variety of on location electrical problems
• Design, plan and improve electrical systems and circuitry layouts
• Provide technical guidance regarding the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems
• Review and understand project documents, drawings, wiring diagrams, instructional manuals, specifications and blueprints.
• Layout project work and ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available to meet the project construction schedule
• Participate in an “On-call” rotation for approximately one week every 2 months in which electrician is to be available by phone as well as available to go on-site to respond and make any necessary repairs in the event after-hour intervention is required
• Adherence to safety regulations and compliance with electrical codes
• Review electronic work orders on smart phone daily for scheduled sites and scope of work required
• Manage a variety of different projects and tasks
• Responsible for documenting work performed and inventory used in work order system
• Responsible for restocking required inventory needs per designated vehicle
• Perform such other duties as requested from time to time

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must have and continue to maintain current/valid electrical licensed
• Thorough understanding of electrical theory
• Effective in the field diagnosing and repairing electrical related items
• 5+ years of experience on office, retail and industrial properties
• Experience concerning single phase and three phase electrical, conduit benders up to 4” EMT and general wiring of networks and switching
• Knowledgeable and capable of using hand tools, power tools and multimeter
• Ability to work well with apprentice Electrician
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
• Possess strong leadership skills
• Bucket truck experience a plus
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Comfortable working at heights up to 35’
• Ability to effectively operate scissor lifts and boom lifts
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to push and or pull up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to crouch, crawl on knees
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
• Ability to lift arms overhead

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
