Salary: Min: $36,736.44 - Max: $62,278.06

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED. Two years of experience in customer service to include experience with social media, digital media technologies, photography/image editing, printing, web design, graphic design, arts and arts crafts, audio production, or music recording and animation are required.

Recruitment Notes:

This position is a part of YOUmedia Miami – Miami-Dade Public Library System’s media production & technology education unit. This position will be responsible for welcoming, engaging, and assisting the community with their media production and technology information needs, while providing exceptional customer service. Additionally, incumbent(s) will be tasked with developing and delivering in-house instructional workshops covering video, audio, graphic design, 3D modeling, and other emerging technologies, while establishing a safe and nurturing environment for young adult visitors. This position serves to connect teens to the world around them in positive and innovative ways, mentoring and supporting them in the use of technology, while creating an awareness of careers and entrepreneurial opportunities in digital media and technology, and encouraging the pursuit of higher education in these fields.
