Western Colorado University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Education. The successful candidate will teach a 5/5 teaching load, with possible releases for leadership responsibilities. All coursework is delivered asynchronously online via Canvas; however, this position requires a consistent campus presence. The Education Department at Western has approximately 150 undergraduates and 100 graduate students. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience supervising/coaching teacher candidates either as a mentor teacher or faculty member
• Experience creating and teaching online and hybrid courses
• Experience teaching at the university level

SALARY/BENEFITS: $42,0000-$45,000 annualized salary. Western offers an excellent benefits package including shared premiums for a comprehensive health insurance plan, dental insurance, retirement plan, life insurance, and other insurance options. After one year of employment, Western provides free tuition for dependents enrolled full time in undergraduate programs for up to four years.
