Village Green seeks enthusiastic individuals to join our sales consultant team at a successful lease-up in Orland Park, IL. If you have persuasive sales and marketing skills, excellent communication and negotiating abilities, are customer service oriented, and are looking for an opportunity to grow with an award-winning company, this may be the perfect role for you.

Pay: $19 an hour + Commissions

• In this sales role, the sales team is the first point of contact which requires quick identification of the needs of our prospective residents to help them find the perfect apartment home.
• In addition to fielding the prospective renter leads, taking tours, and processing applications, the sales team is expected to execute on outreach to help continue to drive traffic to the property outside of the paid media plan. Outreach consists of utilizing the property’s social media pages, attending networking events and creating relationships with local businesses. Outreach needs are determined on a monthly basis.
• You will be rewarded for your sales performance with in an attractive commission program as well as through company wide recognition.
• You will develop long lasting relationships with our current residents and provide them with exceptional customer service.
• The property is open 6 days a week, which means that the candidate needs to have the ability to work weekends.

This is a fast-paced professional environment where each day will be different. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a sales-driven environment and are willing to go above and beyond to exceed our customers’ expectations.

Our ideal Sales Associate has 1-2 years of sales experience in a multi-family environment. If no multi-family industry experience, hospitality experience is welcomed. Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office as well as have experience with social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
